The South of France is ageless. Many a time you wonder how that stone village was built on the side of a hill, and gasp at the beauty of the countryside.

Views of Rians 09
Here are a selection of window shots in and around the village of Rians in the Var, France (4000 inhabitants). The house with blue shutters is ours and the rental rooms overlook the square (45E a night).
I would just like to congratulate you on finding my blog. As I have just moved to the South of France I can now take pictures of my adventures and share some of the many sights in this beautiful part of the world. So welcome to my blog and 'keep on track' as they say in Australia! I know a couple of great guys out there who would know all about that!
I have been fortunate to have lived in Africa, America and Europe. The soul of these countries are a part of me and I live, decorate, cook and paint with this vast background experience.
