One great attraction at the annual Foire de Brignoles was the ITER stand. Not only did it look 'state of the art' but it was the only stand not selling stuff - rather giving away ITER bags, pencils and brochures for free! The message is: fusion is 'in' big time, weather we like it or not something has to manage the worlds energy needs in the future, and ITER, I hope, will lead the way.
